SO I just came back from London MCM Expo - It was super good fun. There was a surprising amount of opportunity there as well to pursue something I love. I went with my boyfriend, Oli, and we met our Power Ranger suit maker Aiwei Su (from Norway) and we managed to hijack the Bandai Stall in our costumes:

We strive for 100% show accuracy in our costumes, especially with the particular Power Rangers that we loved as children. We actually spent a lot of time with the team in charge of the Bandai UK stall, and the team that hired the "Official Dino Charge" Power Rangers (to promote the new series starting in August, see below - they were pretty cool)

We got some contacts for a possible working/job relationship with either Bandai or Rainbow - which would be super exciting to get paid to be a superhero, especially since we aren't actors - we are fans too, that have a genuine love for the brand and series. The reaction that kids get from meeting their heroes adds another layer of awesome to wearing a ranger suit, and hopefully after contacting Bandai and Rainbow, it can be a possible alley down which to travel in my world of cosplay. I'd feel like the luckiest girl alive.
