Some gradients made for fun, and also to make my own colour script. I am a HUGE fan of colour and turning it on it's head, and it can be used in some extremely effective ways.

No 1. is a stereotypical walk down in to hell, with the colours slowly getting hotter as the story progresses. No 2 is a super saturated version of this. Number 3 is inverted, and I really love the bright electric blues, they remind me of gas cooker flames, so they still feel very hot.

No 4 again is saturated. No 5 is a gradient made from the colour script of Dante's Inferno (video game), and the combination that stood out to me was the purple and gold. I then made my own gradient of how I would interpret the journey in to hell:

- Dante starts under a night sky, crosses the gates into hell, goes down the circles of hell until they get super hot, then exits hell through a forest and out under another starry night sky at the base of mount purgatory.

The only issue I have is that the centre of hell is supposed to be ice cold and frozen (due to Satan beating his wings and keeping the lake frozen). I will play with more colours to see what I can come up with.
